Student spouse visa for Australia from India

There is a Visa called Prospective marriage visa which is for the people who want to come to Australia to marry their Prospective spouse.  This visa is temporary for nine months.

You could get a visa If:
·         You are marrying an Australian Citizen
·         Bring Australian PR Visa
·         You are marrying eligible New Zealand, citizen

There are some conditions where you will get Prospective marriage visa
·         You must intend to marry and live as a companion with your prospective spouse.
·         You must get sponsored by your prospective spouse.
·         You must have met your prospective spouse in person.
·         You must be the opposite sex to your prospective spouse.
·          Same-sex couples can get visa under their existing relationship.
·         Your application must have the proof that you intend to marry your prospective spouse within nine months of being granted the visa.

Partner (Provisional) Visa and Partner (Migrant) visa allows the spouse and existing partner of an Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen to travel to and live in Australia.
If you are married to an Australian citizen or an eligible New Zealand citizen you might be able to get the visa.

For married applicants:
·       Your marriage should be valid under Australian law. Underage, polygamous and same- sex marriages are not legal in Australia.
·        
      If one of the couples is below 18 years of age then that kind of marriage could be valid under limited circumstances.
·        Same-sex couples can apply for this visa based on their de facto relationship.
