an Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen to
travel to and live in Australia.
If you are married to an Australian citizen or an eligible
New Zealand citizen you might be able to get the visa.
For married
applicants:
· Your marriage should be valid under Australian
law. Underage, polygamous and same- sex marriages are not legal in Australia.

If one of the couples is below 18 years of age
then that kind of marriage could be valid under limited circumstances.
· Same-sex couples can apply for this visa based
on their de facto relationship.
